Preparing for Your Brow Lift
Prior to your consultation, we want to learn as much as possible about you so that we can best prepare for your visit. Our aim is to thoroughly understand your concerns, goals, timeline, and budget so we can help you explore the many treatment options that we have available to you and ensure that we’ll be creating your ideal results.
Determining Your Candidacy for a Brow Lift
When you visit us for your initial consultation, Dr. Cho will have the chance to determine whether or not you are a candidate for brow lift surgery. The procedure is not recommended for those with normally positioned or high-set eyebrows, as the result can be an unnatural, surprised appearance.
Physical Assessment
Dr. Cho will also perform a physical assessment before working with you to develop a series of treatment options that balance your needs to manage your downtime, your results, and how we can help address your goals. In many cases, a multi-modal approach may be presented to ensure that your outcome is comprehensive and thrilling.
Patient Education
Your consultation gives you a chance to learn about what you can expect from the procedure, as Dr. Cho will describe incision placement, discuss your anesthesia options, talk with you about the surgical techniques that they’ll be employing, and generally give you a clear idea as to what you can expect from your procedure.
Careful Instructions
You’ll be given specific pre-operative instructions regarding medications and how to prepare for the surgery, in addition to a clear idea of what you can expect from the recovery process. After discussing your options, you will continue your journey with your Patient Experience Coordinator to further review your quotes and review the next steps of your aesthetics plan.
Rest, Recovery, and Results After a Brow Lift
After your brow lift, Dr. Cho will apply a soft dressing to the surgical site. You will be given careful aftercare instructions, and our team will also be available to you at all times, to ensure that you’re comfortable with your healing process. Within a few days, you will be able to shower and shampoo your hair. Most patients can typically return to their normal routine after about one to two weeks.
It is important to follow the post-operative instructions provided by Dr. Cho. You may be given prescription pain medications, and you may be asked to avoid sun exposure and limit rigorous activities. In addition, you will be told when it will be alright to use makeup and concealer. It is common for brow lift patients to experience some numbness, swelling, nausea and incision discomfort during recovery.

The cost of a consultation with Dr. Cho is $175, but this fee will be applied to the cost of your procedure should you decide to move forward with Integrated Aesthetics.
